Come on and

Ease on down, ease on down the road
Come on, ease on down
Ease on down the road
Don't you carry nothing
That might be a load
Come on, ease on down
Ease on down the road

Come on, ease on down, ease on down the road
Come on, ease on down, ease on down the road
Don't you carry nothing
That might be a load
Come on, ease on down, ease on down, down the road

Pick your left foot up
When your right foot's down
Come on lets keep movin'
Don't you lose no ground
You just keep on keepin'
On the road that you choose
Don't you give up walkin'
'Cause you gave up shoes, no

Ease on down, ease on down the road
Come on, ease on down
Ease on down the road
Don't you carry nothing
That might be a load
Come on, ease on down
Ease on down the road

'Cause there maybe times
When you think you lost your mind
And the steps you're takin'
Leave you three, four steps behind
But the road you're walking
Might be long sometimes
You just keep on steppin'
And you'll just be fine, yeah

Ease on down, ease on down the road
Come on, ease on down
Ease on down the road
Don't you carry nothing
That might be a load
Come on, ease on down
Ease on down the road

Well there maybe times
When you wish you wasn't born
And you wake one morning
Just to find your courage gone
But just know that feeling
Only last a little while
You stick with us
And we'll show you how to smile, yeah

Get 'em up, goin' down, ease on down
Get 'em up, goin' down, ease on down
Get 'em up, goin' down, ease on down
Get 'em up, get 'em up ease on down the road

Get 'em up, goin' down, ease on down
Get 'em up, goin' down, ease on down
Get 'em up, goin' down, ease on down
Get 'em up, get 'em up ease on down the road

Get 'em up, goin' down, ease on down
Get 'em up, goin' down, ease on down
Get 'em up, goin' down, ease on down
Get 'em up, get 'em up ease on down the road

At first because of the house and windmill at first glace of the picture I thought she was visiting Courage and Family in the middle of Nowhere. Then I read the description and went "Oooh... :iconimhappyplz:"

Anyway, beautiful picture!

1. Is the house inspired by that featured in ''Courage, the Cowardly Dog Show''

2. Is Toto supposed to be mid-bounce, or off the ground at all? I assume he's leaping, but too often my assumptions are wrong.

1. I don't know what Courage, the Cowardly Dog Show is, so i'm afraid not.

2. Yes, mid bounce.

Just an older Cartoon Network show. Thanks for the answer, it's not too often that popular artists take the time.

Gorgeous. The sun setting behind the house, the windmill next to the barn, the somewhat grainy quality - - it's like looking into an old, scratched photograph.

Wow, this is beautiful. (I followed a link from gocasaca's page: [link] )

This is kind of gothic in style, reminds me of Nightmare Before Christmas a little. Very nice treatment of shadow and light. And I really like the lines on the house (the roof).

Nice work!

Home again, home again, jiggity-jog. Very nice work- I love how you drew the farm, and the way the sun's going down and lighting up the sky is great, too. You guys did such a nice job on the series- I can't wait to see if you return for another take on the merry old land of Oz. Kudos!=D

how was this done? photoshop maybe with a dirty canvas picture underneath everything then multiply the layers??
looks different to you other wizard of oz ones but i think its the best as it has the rustic pen and paper feel....
(would be funny if it is actually pen and paper and im just being naive!)
good work

Crap! I been finding out about stuff I'd wanna read like way to late recently. Like when I learned about "Star Trek: Countdown" after issue 4 came out. Ever seen the Manhwa adaptation of "The Wonderful Wizard of OZ?" It is more like a sequel, sort of like the one on Sci-Fi Channel.

Again, awesome. I really appreciate the direction you've chosen. I just watched that movie again not long ago. Sadly, I have not read the Frank Baum book, but I intend to pick it up this year. I've been drawn to this story (no pun intended) for several months. Thanks for the great vision of Oz.

Toto flies again. xD I bet if they produced your artworks as a cartoon the little dog would rather jump than walk.

And for some reason the light effect reminds me to the last scene in The Ninth Gate with Johnny Depp. O_o
