I did some drawing live on UStream and focused on shape studies. I use these times as a chance to push shapes really far and see if there are new things I can apply to faces, bodies, etc. Even if I would pull them back later, it's nice to really take them out over the edge.

Love the granny. It's as if she is the manifestation of a mushroom cloud that went off, but instead of blowing up it got sucked down her hair into her face many, many years ago. She's putting up with it pretty nicely too!!!

Wonderful work!

I've started focusing on shapes and trying to be generally more aware of the role they play in design, but this is just awesome. :D hopefully if i can keep up the practice, then I will hopefully be able to push out work half as good as this!

Love your use of line distinction, too.
