This is the first page of a Monster of Frankenstein story that I wrote and illustrated for Marvel's Legion of Monsters Hardcover.

This was a special project for me as it marked a number of firsts for me. My first credits as a writer in comics, and my first time using a more gritty, darker style of drawing. This was the beginning of me using a brush to ink with and letting myself just throw lines around. It was an very fun project and I can't believe that it's already been a few years since I did it.

the scenes are great, very dark and gloomy! the forest is quite expressionistic and helps building up the atmosphere... I'm very impressed !!

This might sound weird but I love the panel layouts on these pages, all of your recent work actually. Everything else is looking really solid as well, colors and storytelling I've just really been paying more attention to layout in artists work these days and these struck me as being particularly well laid out.
