There Aliens involved in my children's book and I started to doodle a few ideas. This is the first one and it's VERY far from where I want to go. This is very safe and basic and I'm not into at all. But, it's a good start and we'll see where it goes from here.

Even for safe and basic there's still a few subtlies that make it interesting. Like the propulsion jets disturbing the ground underneath him. Don't remember ever seeing anyone else do that.

I kinda like it... I can see him looking like a weeble wobble, without the flight suit.

Having to hop around to chase someone,
Making it less frightening to the kiddies.
