Another pass at an Alien design for my children's book. This one is getting closer to what I'm thinking of. I like the drastic difference in shapes thru out the design. I feel that this has a nice mix of story book and retro alien to it. So, we'll see what comes next

Oh man, I love this design! The head really grabs my attention in its simplicity, and I love the quirky feel!

this is great!

i think he should have little hands inside turning cranks and levers like in some heavy machinery like he is OPPERATING the suit not so much as WEARING it. i think that would add to the "cute" factor.

Sweet. I like the hands, and how it's supported by tentacles that really shouldn't be able to carry that kind of mass, but still do.

Hahaha he looks crafty. i love it. and i can definitely see what you mean with the "shapes"...i really like how his glass bubble is a little misshapen.

I really like this design! I agree it has a nice retro feel to it and the contrasting sizes of shapes of the various parts is really cool!
